Today I had a walkabout and chat for the AVForums London Street Photography Walk. The walk organised by  Dan Cook for members of AVForums who frequent the photography section.  We met up at 11am at Covent Garden, still deemed as an early start by some. Lions at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park

Lions at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park have always been a big feature. One Sunday this week, my family and I went for a nice walk around the animal park. The light was beautiful and the weather nice and crisp. Whipsnade Wild Animal park is part of the Zoological Society London and is set on top of the eastern part of the Chilterns in the United Kingdom just north of London. I can highly recommend a visit. New Forest Wild Ponies

By on 31 August, 2013 in Photography

The New Forest Wild Ponies are a fantastic attraction in the United Kingdom. The New Forest is magical, and one of my favourite places in the world. From the moment I cross those cattle grids, and I see the New Forest Wild Ponies, I relax. It was a last minute decision to go there with my wife and daughters. We put Nero our Labrador puppy in a kennel as he can’t handle the long walks yet, booked a nice remote hotel, and had a wonderful time. I hope you enjoy the photos.     The New Forest Wild Ponies Photographs Panasonic 35-100mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Olympus 17mm   Photography Credits All photography regarding the New Forest Wild Ponies was done by myself using the following...

Whipsnade Wild Animal Park Street Photography

By on 11 August, 2013 in Photography

Street at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park is the nearest to my home where I can satisfy my favourite of all photography styles. I really enjoy street photography and getting up-close-and-personal. It is even better when there is interaction when taking the photo and one of this set definitely captures that moment. The little Olympus PEN E-P5 with 17mm lens is close to perfect for this style in my opinion. It is unintrusive  and doesn’t scare anyone away, in fact it gets people talking.     Whipsnade Wild Animal Park Anyway, here is a small set from Whipsnade Wild Animal Park. Whipsnade Wild Animal Park is part of the Zoological Society of London and is a great place right on top of the eastern part of the Chilterns in Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.
