talkphotography mega meet 2015

By on 7 June, 2015 in News, Photography

Another year another mega talkphotography mega meet. This is the second time I’ve attended the talkphotography mega meet. It is a great event, organised by www.talkphotography.co.uk and it takes place in Whipsnade, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom. This year there were a good number of sessions cover couples, dogs, poses, birds of prey. In addition there were a fair few exhibits and some excellent catering. talkphotography mega meet 2015 photos Below is a selection of the photos that I took on the day. I’ve also had my film cameras with me, but those photos will have to wait until it is developed.   talkphotography.co.uk mega meet 2015 talkphotography.co.uk mega meet 2015 – Couple posing session talkphotography.co.uk mega meet 2015 – Couple posing session, dealing with height difference. talkphotography.co.uk mega meet 2015 – Couple posing session...

Andrew and Jen wedding snapshots

By on 29 April, 2015 in News, Photography

These are my unofficial photos, my snapshots, of  Andrew and Jen’s wedding. It was a wonderful weekend at the Langdale Chase Hotel in Windermere. Please note that none of the photos are edited nor processed, they are just snapshots straight out of the camera. I will publish my selected photos soon. In order to see the photos full size, please do click on a photo and a carousel will display. Within it will also show the EXIF information for those interested. More importantly it will allow for a download of the full original version.     Paparazzi shots I was on the balcony of our room with my wife and notice the official photographer taking Andrew and Jen out onto the jetty for some shots in the ‘Golden Hour’. I quickly popped on my Olympus Zuiko 75-300mm lens and snapped away.   Andrew and Jen wedding And here are some further snaps taken during the...

Landscapes with Olympus 45mm f1.8

By on 10 May, 2014 in Photography, Reviews

This afternoon I took my black Labrador Retriever Nero Benson of Whipsnade and shot some landscapes with Olympus 45mm f1.8. It wasn’t really my intent to photograph landscapes, it really isn’t my cup of tea, but to my pleasant surprise the field of view was actually very pleasing. And when stopping down this little lens produced some very interesting results. So, a great portrait lens, a great street lens, and a great outdoors lens? Do you agree? Or disagree? Feel free to comment and discuss. I got mine from Amazon who are doing a £15 credit on Olympus lenses during May 2014.
