By on 29 April, 2015 in News, Photography

These are my unofficial photos, my snapshots, of  Andrew and Jen’s wedding. It was a wonderful weekend at the Langdale Chase Hotel in Windermere. Please note that none of the photos are edited nor processed, they are just snapshots straight out of the camera. I will publish my selected photos soon. In order to see the photos full size, please do click on a photo and a carousel will display. Within it will also show the EXIF information for those interested. More importantly it will allow for a download of the full original version.     Paparazzi shots I was on the balcony of our room with my wife and notice the official photographer taking Andrew and Jen out onto the jetty for some shots in the ‘Golden Hour’. I quickly popped on my Olympus Zuiko 75-300mm lens and snapped away.   Andrew and Jen wedding And here are some further snaps taken during the...

Today I had a walkabout and chat for the AVForums London Street Photography Walk. The walk organised by  Dan Cook for members of AVForums who frequent the photography section.  We met up at 11am at Covent Garden, still deemed as an early start by some. The photos Below please find the gallery containing a selection of photos taken at the London Street Photography Walk today. London Street Photography Walk We started at Covent Garden, drop south towards the Strand, moved towards Trafalgar Square, passed the Horses Guarded, across St. James Park, the Palace, Green Park, up north through Mayfair into Oxford street, then east toward Tottenham Court road, but stopped short and dropped south through Soho Square, China town and back at Covent Garden. Volkswagen Golf R 2014 Review

By on 17 March, 2014 in Photography, Reviews

This is the Volkswagen Golf R 2014 Review by Jean-Paul for oooia.com. It was an impulse buy, or should I say personal lease. I got this Volkswagen Golf R 2014 on a personal lease deal through  bluechillicars.com. The purchasing process was quick and easy with secure and perfect delivery to my door.  I’ve taken delivery of this vehicle on Friday 14th March, since then driven it for about 100 miles, and these are my thoughts. You may not agree, you may agree, I encourage you to look and read, and if you feel like it, get involved share it, comment on it, let me know your thoughts. Not just on the car, but also on the photography. By the way, talking about photography. Don’t forget to click the photos, you’ll be able to see them full screen and at full resolution. What is it? It a Volkswagen Golf Mark 7. But not just any Volkswagen Golf, it is an R version. The looks at...

New Forest Wild Ponies

By on 31 August, 2013 in Photography

The New Forest Wild Ponies are a fantastic attraction in the United Kingdom. The New Forest is magical, and one of my favourite places in the world. From the moment I cross those cattle grids, and I see the New Forest Wild Ponies, I relax. It was a last minute decision to go there with my wife and daughters. We put Nero our Labrador puppy in a kennel as he can’t handle the long walks yet, booked a nice remote hotel, and had a wonderful time. I hope you enjoy the photos.     The New Forest Wild Ponies Photographs Panasonic 35-100mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm SLR Magic 12mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Panasonic 35-100mm Olympus 17mm   Photography Credits All photography regarding the New Forest Wild Ponies was done by myself using the following...

Whipsnade Wild Animal Park Street Photography

By on 11 August, 2013 in Photography

Street at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park is the nearest to my home where I can satisfy my favourite of all photography styles. I really enjoy street photography and getting up-close-and-personal. It is even better when there is interaction when taking the photo and one of this set definitely captures that moment. The little Olympus PEN E-P5 with 17mm lens is close to perfect for this style in my opinion. It is unintrusive  and doesn’t scare anyone away, in fact it gets people talking.     Whipsnade Wild Animal Park Anyway, here is a small set from Whipsnade Wild Animal Park. Whipsnade Wild Animal Park is part of the Zoological Society of London and is a great place right on top of the eastern part of the Chilterns in Bedfordshire, United Kingdom.
