These are my unofficial photos, my snapshots, of  Andrew and Jen’s wedding. It was a wonderful weekend at the Langdale Chase Hotel in Windermere. Please note that none of the photos are edited nor processed, they are just snapshots straight out of the camera. I will publish my selected photos soon. In order to see the photos full size, please do click on a photo and a carousel will display. Within it will also show the EXIF information for those interested. talkphotography megga meet 2014

By on 21 May, 2014 in Photography

Last weekend the talkphotography megga meet 2014 was held at my village hall. It would have been rude not to attend, say hello to a few people, and join a few sessions. This was new to me, I’ve never done anything like this before. Whilst there were the opportunities indoors with studio lights and backgrounds, the weather was so nice, the light was great,...

It wasn’t really my intent to photograph landscapes, it really isn’t my cup of tea, but to my pleasant surprise the field of view was actually very pleasing. And when stopping down this little lens produced some very interesting results. So, a great portrait lens, a great street lens, and a great outdoors lens? Do you agree? Or disagree? Feel free to comment and discuss. I got mine from Amazon who are doing a £15 credit on Olympus lenses during May 2014. Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 45 mm 1:1.8 Lens - Black List Price: £199.00 Current Price: £199.00 Price Disclaimer Landscapes with the Olympus 45mm f1.8 To be honest all of my walks with our handsome hound are in the outdoors, as this is where I live.  I just don’t get tired of this landscape, it...
