This afternoon I took my black Labrador Retriever Nero Benson of Whipsnade and shot some landscapes with Olympus 45mm f1.8. It wasn’t really my intent to photograph landscapes, it really isn’t my cup of tea, but to my pleasant surprise the field of view was actually very pleasing. And when stopping down this little lens produced some very interesting results. So, a great portrait lens, a great street lens, and a great outdoors lens? Do you agree? Or disagree? Feel free to comment and discuss.

I got mine from Amazon who are doing a £15 credit on Olympus lenses during May 2014.

Landscapes with the Olympus 45mm f1.8

To be honest all of my walks with our handsome hound are in the outdoors, as this is where I live.  I just don’t get tired of this landscape, it changes throughout the seasons, it is just beautiful. So today I shot some landscapes with Olympus 45mm f1.8, and here are the results.
